KS4 Curriculum and Options

The National Curriculum requires students to do a broad range of subjects which are compulsory. Every student will have the opportunity to study a range of accredited subjects appropriate to their needs, potential and future aspirations.

At Parkside, we offer two pathways at Key Stage 4:

Students are placed on to one of the pathways based upon our knowledge of them as a learner and their progression across the course of their Key Stage 3 curriculum.

Core Qualifications: Students study all these qualifications; they are assessed and graded at the end of Year 11.

  • English Literature
