Feeling Overwhelmed?

If you are feeling overwhelmed, or like you want to hurt yourself or someone else you can:

If you, or someone else, is at immediate risk of harm, this is an emergency.

You should:

  • Call 999
  • Tell and adult you trust and ask them to call 999 and ask for help

Counselling

At Parkside, we work with Youth in Mind if you are:

  • Feeling worried or low in mood
  • Having difficulties going to school
  • Need help to build self confidence
  • Need guidance on exploring your identity
  • Need support with achieving goals

You can speak to your Head of Year, Student Support Leader or a member of the Safeguarding Team if you feel you would benefit from Youth in Mind counselling.

Mind is a charity that offers help whenever you might need it through their information, advice and local services. They have lots of guidance online to help you:

Molehill Mountain

Molehill Mountain is an app to help people with autism understand and self-manage anxiety. The app is free and you can download it from the App Store on your iPhone or the . Through short daily logins, you’ll cover a full Cognitive Behaviour Therapy course that has been designed specifically for autistic people.
