Enrichment is integrated into the Parkside curriculum taking place twice a week.

Students take part in two different activities per week and select their enrichment activities from the wide variety on offer.
It is part of the weekly diet experienced by our students, that provides the opportunity to develop a sense of purpose, improve self-confidence, take ownership of their own learning and build positive relationships with other students and staff. As well as providing students with experiences that allow them to ‘stand out from the crowd’
There are 4 categories of enrichment activities:
Be Active – a wide range of sporting activities
Be Creative – activities based around art, technology, music and drama
Be Involved – involves students working together on activities that are not based around sport or creativity
Be Prepared – activities that can lead to additional qualifications
