Careers Fair
We had over 60 educational establishments, training providers and employers supporting us to provide our students with the opportunity to gain invaluable information to help them make key decisions in the future. Some staff brought their own children along which was fab, and others made some new business contacts to work with in their departments.
A few of our post 16 students used the opportunity to build their networks! Personal statements have been sent off to key staff within the NHS to review them and make useful suggestions and a few others have chatted about work experiences and weekend work. All sounds good to me.
Our Post 16 students were particularly brilliant, welcoming everyone in, escorting them to their places in the hall and manning the sign in area. We received a lot of praise from the guests about how polite, respectful and welcoming they were. The food for the providers was also greatly appreciated and looked lovely so thanks to Isobel and the team.
Feedback forms have been sent out and some have started coming back in. The general consensus was that it was a fab event, the students were brilliant, polite, & also extremely helpful.
