10 wicket victory over Bingley Grammar School

Our U13 cricket team progressed to the next round of the Joe Root Cricket Competition with a comprehensive 10 wicket victory over local rivals Bingley Grammar School. Eddie our captain won the toss and elected to field first. The skipper led the way picking up his first wicket in the opening over. The bowling and fielding display from ball one to the end of the innings was outstanding from all, a real team performance with the wickets being shared around between our bowlers, bowling their opponents out for 56 also thanks to some superb glove work from Harry behind the stumps. 

Matthew and Harry confidently stepped out to the wicket for the second innings, an excellent partnership saw them knock off Bingley's total with 7 over remaining, Matthew 30 not out and Harry 25 not out.
