Learning Resources Centre
Headteacher

Our new purpose-built Learning Resources Centre opened in November 2006. We aim to support the curriculum, encourage independent learning and help to improve literacy across the school. Classes from all curriculum areas can come to the LRC for research and book exchanges. The facilities are available to Post 16 students to work independently at all times. At break times we provide a stimulating environment for students including competitions and quizzes.

Resources: over 10,000 books for information and recreation, videos, CD-Roms, newspapers and magazines. Photocopy service and stationery sales. Seating for over 30 students at tables. Seminar room with seating for 20 students.

IT provision: 8 computers in the main LRC and 2 in the Seminar Room.
