FEBRUARY
West Yorkshire Sportshall Trials
Jessica Mayho and Arianna Zenti selected to represent West Yorkshire in the Under 15 girls competition at the Regional Sportshall Athletics Final in Halifax.
Regional Finals
West Yorkshire won the final to qualify for the National Finals in Birmingham.
Jessica gained 2nd place in the 4 lap race and standing long jump. Teaming up with Arianna they were also second in the 8 lap paarlauf relay.
At the end of day Jessica had secured joint 2nd place overall in the individual competition.
APRIL
National Sportshall Finals
Jessica and Arianna will compete for West Yorkshire in the National Sportshall Finals at the NEC in Birmingham.
Congratulations go to both girls and our best wishes for the final.
ATHLETICS
Parkside have entered the following competitions this season. Training will be on a Wednesday after school. Watch this space for news of our results.

ROUNDERS
Parkside have entered the Bradford Schools League and look forward to playing against Beckfoot, Buttershaw, Grange, Queensbury, St Josephs A and B, Nab Wood, Salts and Thornton.
Practices will be on a Monday after school. Watch this space for our results.
SWIMMING
Bingley Swimming Club Secondary Schools Gala
Parkside were up against some stiff opposition from Oakbank, Bingley GS, Holy Family and Thornton GS. However, our 12 swimmers, who were selected from year 7 through to year 12 performed magnificently in all of their races and won the overall title. We also were victorious in the secondary school mixed relay team championship and collected our second shield of the night. Congratulations to
Faye Palmer, Imogen Talbot, Gabrielle Arcuri, Francesca Arcuri, Rhianwen Ibbotson, Bethany Greenwood, Joe Wain, Liam Mallinson, Oliver Lovatt, Owen Palmer, George Whittaker and Michael Bonson.
DIVING
Jenny Cowen continues to perform magnificently at national and international level. Her outstanding achievements this academic year are as follows -
British Senior Championships 4th in 10m syncho and 8th in the 10m platform, making her the top junior diver in the country.
In February Jenny won a gold medal in the 10m synchro at the European Arena Diving Cup in Sweden. Fabulous news Jenny.
Chloe Hurd is another accomplished diver and we watch her progress with great interest. Her most significant result was at the Senior British Championships in January, which was her first major senior event. Chloe gained a bronze medal in the womens 1 metre springboard. Fantastic news Chloe. Keep up the good work.
